One Sweet Summer Fling
It was just another usual afternoon when she incidentally bumped into him. Smiling, as gorgeous as usual, he gave her a warm embrace.
An embrace that used to raise her heartbeat. An embrace that used to dash some blush on her cheek. The embrace that made her memory sailed to 3 months ago, to her summer time.
Bright summer days, when he taught her how to balance her clumsy body on a bike.
Sunny summer days, when he rode her home day by day and told her his story of the day.
Fine summer days, when he used to hold her arm protectively every time they crossed some busy roads.
Serene summer days, when they spent time together for eating, eating, and eating, and he told her she’s the most innocent girl he had ever met.
A warm summer day, when he brought her a fancy cake for her birthday which ended up with icing war and gentle sweeps on her blushing cheek.
It was a brief couple weeks of summer, but the girl had been into the boy so bad.
And at the time when she found out that he had other girl(s) already, the girl has fallen for his warm delicate acts filling her summer days. Yes, she was upset. Yet, she said nothing and left quietly.
Time passes by, they go on their own business and never get in touch.
And after these past 3 months, the girl has nothing left for him but her middle fingers. And perhaps, some remaining silly blush.
